Best Place For Trip Dalhousie

I m trying to start about one of my best trip in Himachal Pradesh of my travel life. Let’s start from Faridabad, my home town, it was month of april and I started my journey with my two friends. First of all we were cancelling this trip due to economically issues but as someone said “When there's will there's way” , we packed our bags and ready to go for our destination name “Dalhousie”. It was Thursday , after office we reached at badarpur metro station at 9:45pm and getting late because our train time was 10:45 pm. Hardly we reached at old delhi railway station when train get started. We got our seats and exited about journey, after some chit chat we taken dinner and slept. It was next morning we could see mountain covered with snowfall near pathankot railway station, finally we reached at 8:30 am at pathankot railway station. We are looking for toy train but someone told there is no toy train to Dalhousie. We got travel informer outside of railway station & got some book & map for himachal travel information in just 40 rupee. We taken bus from pathankot bus stand to Dalhousie at 10:00am after taking breakfast. It got colder as the bus climbed higher and higher. The bus was stopping at each and every village on the way even though there was no space to stand inside. My one friend started felling suffocated so I offer him window seat. As we reached higher I realised that it was an army cantt and we could able to see dhauladhar range of Himalaya which fully coved with snow fall, it was totally awesome  experience.  It was 2:30 Pm when the bus reached at the bus stand of dalhousie, many local came to ask for hotel but we refuse their offer because one of our friend disappear and reached at wine shop and took beer. Two local hotel adviser step forward with us & they are started to inform us about Dalhousie. They said this is off season so u can get hotel easily with cheaper rate. Our one friend went to one of hotel adviser & one with me to other adviser, we found a nice hotel with nice room in cheaper rate. We throw our bag and asked for lunch to hotel staff we ordered first omelette to drink beer & I asked for cold drink while atmosphere is so cold. We took lunch & took rest. At evening we take a shower and thought for walking at church & market. Finally we reach at The St. Francis church at Subhash Chowk which was so beautiful; So we walked up the Mall Road to Gandhi Chowk, the main centre of Dalhousie. There were plenty of hotels on the way. We click some pick which I m sharing. It was 7:00pm street light was on in the market we took a vodka (white mischief) ,some snakes, coke  & walk for hotel room, where we ordered dinner (chicken, shahi paneer & mix bread etc) which price around INR 400  which was very nice food in good rate. We have dinner around 9:00 pm & watched T.V. around 2 hour with our chit chat. It was so cold we were going to sleep ( It was my personal experience as we see mountain in morning is so beautiful but when we see in night it was soo.. horrible). Now we slept I woke early & I felt lucky because my friends got around 9:00am, when I   woke up it was most beautiful view in front of me sun was arising in between two mountain there was silence which look like that I m in heaven. I woke up first so I got refresh it was so cold water even I don’t want to touch the water while brushing teeth. In balcony I was taking sun bath with cold air it was a nice experience. Later I switch on the T.V. with full sound by which my friend also woke up and we started dancing together. After 1 hour we ordered  breakfast which most of north Indian like to eat (Aaloo ke parathe) with pickle. It really taste awesome. Now our eyes were being ready to go market & see morning view of dhauladhar range. It was a nice view where sunlight fell on the white mountain and it really makes speechless. Later we came to hotel and hotel staff asked for changing room and we ready to switch & ready to go at khajjiar. We were taking lot of nice memory from Dalhousie. We reached at subhash choak where taxi stand available. We hire a taxi to  khajjiar in just 700 rs. He guide us where we should to go with his taxi first we reached at green valley, click some pics it was really very green, a mountain surrounded with oak tree and the air is so fresh make the atmosphere colder.

As taxi was climbed higher & higher we really see the snow fall around road side & some defence person trying to clean it. After 30min we reached at a mountain which fully covered with snow fall some sports were playing there like short skating in tube from top of mountain which price was 50 rs per person. We also take a ride of that tube. Experience was really awesome. As everybody play with ice to make that iceball, we also played for half an hour and entered in our taxi & went to khajjiar. As we were about to reach we saw first site of khajjiar & it was really loking like swizerland as in Srk movie site in foreign. Finally we reached at kajjiyar about 2:00 pm & it was awesome experience ever in life, a garden which covered with grass & a lake, around park mountain with oak tree after that mountain which covered with ice. Weather was good, many type of sports were available their like horse riding , hot balloon & lot more. We clicked many pics their & taking lunch . after Lunch we decided to move to chamba & what was that we decided to go their by foot 24 km distance. We all were agree we started our journey from khjjiyar to chamba city. Lets stat we reached at shiv temple where idol of shiva was so high aprox 60 feet, after worship their we are started our journey. As we walked aprox 6 or 7 km , we got tired so taken rest road side  & stated again we have map so we find a view mount kailash from the way to chamba, we click some pics & started our journey. After covering some distance we found a way to go down the mountain but it was risky way to down because way are sleepy , Narrow & full with forest. Some local woman is asking to us where were we going we told we were going down then they said : you are not able to reached down from this way, but we all were exited so we started, after some time we saw a snake with two heads. Finally we reached at the Ravi river & we find difficulties to go down in between big rocks but at the end we reached at valley  where we asked the way to chamba who told us chamba is far away from here aproxx. 14 km. So we started again & we met with two local school boy I have remember one of their name is Suraj who guide us about that place & suggested to stay at his uncle shoap, we were very tired so we decided to stop their we order tees & snakes & Maggie . it was evening & rain was started , we stayed there about 2 hours due to rain , raid was stoped & we started our journey again by foot , after 30 min on the way one bus came for chamba we all were tired so finally we decided to  take bus because chamba was 10 km away. Bus driver drive fastly it felt like he got accident but we reached chamba around 9:00 Pm & looking for ATM , we got ,took some money & searching for hotel, we got after 30 min a nice hotel in just 400rs, chamba is very nice city but we came from Dalhousie so we felt suffocation here. We kept our bag in hotel & desided to walk in night, finally we got a nice restaurant name not remembered but had good food we ordered (Rajma, Shahi paneer, breads). And went to hotel room we bought a bottle milk & a ice cream & reached at hotel room & drunk milk , taste ice cream was good. Now we were going to sleep after watching movie for 1 hour around 12 pm. Woke up at 8:am & went to balcony what i saw that was amazing dholadhar range in front of me, fully white mountain in front of me. It was nice view after we get ready to start our journey. We took breakfast from same restaurant  where we took dinner. We hire a taxi from taxi stand in 500 rs . we watched first chamunda temple which r located in bank of the Raavi river. This goddess belongs to hindu religion. Then after we went to Raavi view point click some pics their but there is nothing to see anything birds centaury was closed , we move from there to Chamba Devi temple, it was woman fair in temle we warship there for a time but we se some people coming from top of mountain where fair was on so we decided to go on top we didn’t wear shoes becoz we thought it was just two or three km but as we went higher local people said just 5 km , 6km 10 km so we confused As they saw we were not wearing their shoes they asked why we just said we were coming from delhi & we have no idea to how far it was , so we kept our shoes in taxi. Finally we reached after 10km walking in narrow & dirty way full with stone . but we reached at heaven a Cascade(water fall) was there a temple where many beautifull girl and lady were enjoying , we worshiped there & returned back to taxi but it was so difficult but we reached at taxi & move to Laxmi Narayan temple  which are One of the oldest and largest temples at Chamba which stands proudly is in the form of Lakshmi Narayan Temple. It has six different temples in its complex; this temple was built in the 10th century. The entire temple in the complex is arranged from north to south dedicated to either Lord Shiva or Vishnu. There are other temples also housed in the complex including Radha Krishna Temple, Shiva Temple of Chandragupta and Gauri Shankar Temple. After click pics there we moved to Bhuri Singh Museum in which museum has a wonderful collection of miniature paintings from the Chamba, Kangra and Basohli schools, plus wood carvings, weapons, rumal (embroideries), intriguing copper-plate inscriptions and ornately carved centuries-old fountain slabs from around the Chamba Valley. There’s detailed labelling in English. Now taxi driver said its over in chamba, we are little disappointed from taxi driver. After enjoying in chamba we took lunch &  went to hotel room where we packed our bag & good memory and reached at bus stand but there is no any bus to pathankot.  We asked to a local person about the bus of pathankot , he informed us one bus will come at 5 :00 pm which r luxury bus. We didn’t want stay one more day due our office work so we decided to go with that bus & at 5:10 pm bus was entered in bus stand we got out seat . bus was really very luxury , there is T.V. & with air condition. Bus reached Dalhousie after 2 hour where many passenger entered there & went for pathankot . Bus was stoped at a shop where we took some tea & bread with some snakes . Bus started from chamba after 2 hours bus reached at pathankot bus stand  we run for reaching at station because train to delhi already reached because its time to pathankot was over as we reached at station we saw the train was on platform.  We were trying to take ticket but lady said please check is available or not. But we have no any option so we took ticket & reached at platform train was fully packed we reached last boggy of train where we saw a small boggy in which some old people are sited, we entered in boggy & took our seat & closed the door of train. At the next morning we reached at old Delhi railway station with packed bags with full of memory. It was the one of best  Adventured trip  for me.
